PANCAKES AT THE FIREHOUSE!

Join the Rancho Santa Fe Firefighters Association for a Pancake Breakfast and Open House on Sunday, October 14, 2007. The RSF Pancake Breakfast will be from 7:30am to 11:30am. Everyone is welcome to come out and support the local fire department of Rancho Santa fe. There will be fire engine rides, a bounce house, and fire engine and equipment displays (among other things)! The Country Friends will be hosting the 52nd annual “Art of Fashion” fashion show this Thursday September 20th 2007 at 11:00am on the lawn in front of The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe. The Rancho Santa Fe Fashion show has always been a very popular event and is one of the largest outdoor fashion shows in the United States. The event will feature boutique shopping, the “Art of Lunch”, wine tasting and of course, the “Art of Fashion” runway show, featuring Gucci, Saks 5th Ave, Fendi, Christian Dior… and many more! The 7th Annual Rancho Santa Fe Art Fair is this Sunday September 9th in the Village of Rancho Santa Fe. The RSF art fair will feature over 150 Artist’s booths and give everyone a change to meet some of San Diego’s finest Artists and see some live demonstrations. In addition you will be able to purchase original fine artwork while enjoying a sunny Sunday afternoon in Rancho Santa Fe. The event will also have live music and a silent auction! The Rancho Santa Fe Art Fair is free to the public and it will be held accross from the “Rancho Santa Fe Properties” office at the Corner of Paseo Delicias and Avenida de Acacias in the middle of town!

This Saturday our office is organizing “Operation Clean Sweep” in the Village of Rancho Santa Fe. We will be meeting on Saturday April 28th at about 6:30am (before there are cars on the street). We will start at our office (Prudential Rancho Santa Fe Properties) across from “The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe,” and together we will sweep the sidewalks and curbs, and pick up the village trash.
Grab a broom and dustpan and come on down! Coffee and refreshments will be provided! Meet some friends and neighbors and help keep the Village of Rancho Santa Fe looking beautiful!

Rancho Santa Fe Art Fair!!

This Sunday the Rancho Santa Fe Art Guild will host the 6th Annual Rancho Santa Fe Art Fair in the village across from the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe. The Sidewalk art fair will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday Sept. 10 in the village parks at the intersection of Paseo Delicias and Avenida De Acacias. The fair will host over 130 regional artists. The Rancho Santa Fe art fair is a great family event with entertainment, food, demonstrations, a silent auction, raffles and contests.

Proceeds from the Art fair will benefit the Rancho Santa Fe Art Guild’s programs that aid the visual arts in the community. For more information visit the Rancho Santa Fe Art Guild Website.

Friday September 8th starting at 5pm will be the 2nd Annual Community Center Night at The Rancho Riding Club. This great event (sponsored by Wells Fargo Private Client Services) will be held at the riding club’s facility on Ramblas de las Flores.
The entire community is invited to participate in this joint presentation by the Rancho Santa Fe Community Center and The Rancho Riding Club.

The Rancho Santa Fe Riding Club was formed in 1946 and is the only self owned, managing and supporting sporting facility in the Covenant.The event will feature a variety of different riding demonstrations by The Rancho Riding Club’s master riders and instructors. Encompassing 9 acres, it includes an active stable with private instruction and great year- around programs for youth.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Rancho Santa Fe community center you can learn more Rancho Santa Fe’s many programs of recreation and enrichment for all ages. Celebrating over 30 years of service to this community, the Community Center strives to bring people together with events such as this one that create an awareness of everything Rancho Santa Fe has to offer its residents.

Tickets to the “Rancho Santa Fe Commmunity Center Night at the Rancho Riding Club” are $35 for adults, $15 for children ages 6 to 12, and free for children under 6. A delicious catered barbecue dinner will be served with margaritas, beer, soda and water included. Time to get ready for the Rancho Santa Fe 4th of July Parade and Picnic. This year is Rancho Santa Fe’s 25th Annual Parade and Picnic celebration and it looks like it is shaping up o be a great day! The weather forcast for Rancho Santa Fe on the 4th is a perfect 77 degrees and partly cloudy.
The parade will start at 1:00pm in the Rancho Santa Fe Assocation parking lot. The sponsors (The Rancho Santa Fe Polo Club, and Rancho Santa Fe Association) are expecting a great turnout. The parade will feature the RSF Community Band, parade princesses, Honor Guard, Marine Corps Color Guard, Boy and Girl Scouts, family floats, decorated bicycles and decorated golf carts. Also included will be fire trucks, classic cars… and much much more. Anyone with a good idea is encouraged to join in the fun! There will be a community picnic and concert on the green featuring The Coastal Communities Concert Band at 1:30 p.m. The RSF Community Center and RSF Golf Club will also be co-hosting a fabulous barbecue with hamburgers, hot dogs and refreshments (punch and ice-cream are complimentary). The San Diego County will be presenting its final roundabout designs to the Road & Traffic Committee April 13. This meeting is open and the public is invited to attend.
