On Wednesday, May 9th the Rancho Santa Fe community will have the opportunity to learn what it takes to maintain good brain health for a long and happy life. The event is through the Village Viewpoints and is being co-presented by The Village Church and The RSF Foundation. The panel discussion will be from 6:30-8:00, and will include time for questions from the audience. Experts in the panel are Dr. Tom Flanagan, Dr. Dee Silver, and Ms. Muffy Walker. Members leading the discussions are experts in the fields of Neuroscience and psychology. Discussions will range from the latest breakthroughs in understanding brain health and the causes, preventions and treatments of mood disorders and neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. The objective of the panel is to help the attendees learn how a person’s genetics, life style, age, and chance will be a great influence on one’s quality of life as they age.
